Houston’s Hen House an antiques, collectibles and upscale resale shop located in an old piano factory turned retail in scenic Oregon, Illinois along the Rock River.

The piano factory, built in the 1800’s, with its original beams throughout gives you a quaint feeling as you stroll through the
halls and window shop at the unique one-owner shops on the
first and second floor at Conover Square.

Houston’s is filled to the brim with unique pieces such as furniture, dishes, glass, mirrors, knickknacks and coins found from treasure hunts throughout the states.  During the “season” over 1,100 people or more cross the threshold of Houston’s Hen House.

Houston’s Hen House also has a multiple dealers section called “The Crow’s Nest that gives customers a variety of items to reminisce over times gone by.  You’re sure to find something at Houston’s perfectly suited to your personal sense of style.

During the “season”, June through December, Houston’s Hen House is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.  Store hours can be accommodated for groups and special bus tours.


Blackhawk Model Railroad Club

Billy Barnhart Museum

Conover Square is the home of the Billy Barnhart Museum, featuring rooms of vintage toys, collectibles, sleighs, farm equipment, and relics of the past. Located right behind Houston's Hen House.
